LOQO Terms of Service

Last updated: May 28, 2026

By using LOQO, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before creating a profile or posting a unit.

1

About LOQO

LOQO is a rental matching platform that connects tenants and landlords in Montreal, Quebec. LOQO is not a real estate agency, property manager, or party to any lease agreement entered into between a tenant and landlord.

2

Eligibility

To use LOQO, you must be at least 18 years old and reside in or be seeking housing in Quebec. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3

Tenant obligations

As a tenant, you agree to: provide accurate and complete information in your profile, consent to the credit, background, and reference checks you have authorized, not create multiple profiles, and update your profile if your situation changes. Any misrepresentation may result in immediate profile deletion.

4

Landlord obligations

As a landlord, you agree to: only post units that are genuinely available and compliant with applicable laws, provide accurate information about the unit (rent, size, amenities), respect the Quebec Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms and not discriminate against applicants, and contact tenants within a reasonable timeframe.

5

No guarantee of match

LOQO does not guarantee that a tenant will find a unit, nor that a landlord will find a tenant. The platform facilitates matches, but final rental decisions belong entirely to the parties involved.

6

Prohibited content

It is prohibited to use LOQO to: post fake or misleading listings, discriminate against applicants on protected grounds, harass other users, share other users' personal information without their consent, or any illegal activity.

7

Limitation of liability

LOQO provides the platform "as is." We are not responsible for user actions, inaccuracies in profiles or listings, losses arising from transactions between tenants and landlords, or service interruptions. Our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by Quebec law.

8

Account termination

You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. LOQO reserves the right to suspend or delete any account that violates these terms, without prior notice.

9

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the province of Quebec and applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec.

10

Changes

LOQO may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you by email of significant changes. Continued use of the platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
